Centrix, Inc., a leading manufacturer of dentistry products, has pledged $25,000 to endow scholarships at Fones School of Dental Hygiene at the University of Bridgeport, the school announced Monday. "Centrix's generous gift enables us to reward those students who, by their exemplary work and dedication to the profession of dental hygiene, will be among tomorrow's best health care providers," said Fones School Dean Meg Zayan. Dental Mission to Mbabne, Swaziland

Enclosed is my thank you disk from our 2008 dental mission to Mbabne, Swaziland. It is set up as a Power Point presentation with all the necessary files to run on a PC. It was a great trip and we accomplished a lot while we were there. Our mission, in addition to helping over 250 children that have never seen a real dentist (some only saw someone to pull infected teeth), also helped project a better view of the United States and Americans. Dominican Republic Mission 2006

Your generous contributions helped make our dental mission to Jarabacoa, Dominican Republic a huge success. During the week of March 24-31 Matt Vaillant DDS and Justin Swanson DDS, with the support of a team from Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Burnsville, provided dental care to 80 students in grades K-8 and staff members of Doulos Discovery School. (ddsdr.org) The donations to our trip were overwhelming and allowed us to provide fillings, extractions, sealants, prophylaxis and flouride treatments. We stressed prevention and oral hygiene. Desert Springs Church Mission to Guatemala

Desert Springs church wishes to extend its sincerest appreciation for your donation of 1000 unites of fluoride varnish. The medical outreach team that just returned from Guatemala, made use of all or most of what was donated and the Achi people were benefitted by your generosity. The trip included excursions to 6 different villages that allowed the team to see patients, supply medicines, teach children how to properly care for their teeth, and distribute toothbrushes and toothpaste.
