Dental sealants are an effective tool in the caries prevention toolbox. Pit-and-fissure sealants have been  used for many decades to prevent and control caries in both primary and permanent teeth. The ADA included this treatment in their evidence-based clinical practice guideline on nonrestorative treatments for carious lesions. “The expert panel convened by the ADA Council on Scientific Affairs prioritized the use of sealants plus 5% NaF varnish or sealants alone over the use of all other treatments for occlusal noncavitated lesions on both primary and permanent teeth.”¹

We are excited to introduce two new members to the Centrix team! Diana Champagne joined the team as new HR Director in May and Stefania Eaton is took on the role of Purchasing Agent in June. 
 
Diana is a strategic HR leader with expertise in HR operations, compensation, talent management, recruiting, employee relations and an extensive working knowledge of employment and benefit laws. 
 
Diana has previously worked for  Ontario Systems, Lydall, Inc., MannKind Corporation and Priceline among others where she was responsible for HR operations and technology, employee benefits and compensation administration, and program performance assessment. 
 
Diana has a Bachelor of General Studies from the University of Connecticut, Stamford. She is married with two teenagers and three pets, and she enjoys spending time on Cape Cod. Please join us in welcoming Diana to the team.

The Bid for Smiles Charity Auction is a virtual event benefiting America’s Toothfairy, which supports oral health programs and resources for children in need.  Each year, Centrix is proud and excited to donate award-winning FluoroDose fluoride varnish for the virtual auction. 
 
Each year presents us all with unique challenges, but it has disproportionally impacted low-income families and the children served by America’s Toothfairy and the National Children’s Health Organization. By sponsoring this event, and donating FluoroDose fluoride varnish, Centrix helps to ensure these children have access to critical dental care and basic oral care supplies.
