Centrix Assists CRET in Opening of new Technology and Research Center
Earlier this week, Centrix visited Loma Linda University Dental School to attend the grand opening Of the Hugh Love Center for Research and Education in Technology (CRET). The opening of the center was the culmination of many years of work by CRET, an organization founded by Dr. Edward Rossomando and a coalition of dental companies, of which Centrix is a founding member, to bring diverse new products and technologies to dental students who otherwise would not be exposed to such products and technologies during the coures of their education. Opening of the center was made possible throughout the forward thinking of Dean Charles Goodacre and the faculty of Loma Linda.
“CRET was founded in 2004 by a group of innovative dental industry leaders to achieve the following vision: to insure that each dental school has the latest in equipment and products and that dental students and faculty have access to this technology for treatment of patients while in dental school. CRET’s mission is to develop a Technology Educational Program (TEP) for dental students, dental residents, and dental faculty that will promote knowledge and competency in 21st century technology. CRET’s goal is to offer the TEP to all dental schools in the US and to provide assistance for the integration of the TEP into each dental school’s curriculum through installation & maintenance of equipment and products at each participating school.”
Centrix is proud to be a part of the betterment of dentistry which starts with the education of new dental students. CRET and Centrix have similar missions, as we are both committed to improving dental education and oral health care in the United States and world wide.
