“On behalf of the board of directors of MEDICO (Medicine, Eye & Dental International Care Organization), I would like to thank Centrix for their continuing generosity in supporting our mission in Central America.
MEDICO has been providing healthcare services and health education in Honduras and Nicaragua since 1990. Thanks to Centrix, we have been able to provide fluoride varnish treatments for hundreds of children over the past few years, in addition to the general dentistry and preventive care we provide. In the past year, we have been able to incorporate regular fluoride varnish treatments as part of the school based preventive program that we established several years ago at the elementary school in Monte Verde, Honduras, a remote mountainous village. We hope to see a reduction in DMF scores, which have remained stubbornly high. A special note of thanks to Christopher Brana, one of Centix’s product managers, who has been extremely helpful and generous.”
