Dental Product Shopper has given Access Crown Ultra from Centrix a rating of 4.5 based on evaluations from 13 dentists and prosthodontists who participated in the DPS review. Reviewers cited the product’s ease of use, esthetics, strength and fast set times as “excellent or very good.”
Centrix Access Crown Ultra is our latest composite for provisional crowns and bridges, an advanced bis-acryl formula featuring faster intraoral set times, as well as higher compressive and flexural strengths.
A reviewing dentist in practice for 33 years described Centrix Access Crown Ultra as, “Easy to use and good color match. A very good product.” Several evaluators identified esthetics and/or polishability as among the features they liked most. A prosthodontist in practice for 34 years, who rated the material as excellent, calling Centrix Access Crown Ultra a “great product” and described it as “stronger than any I have used.”
Ninety-two percent of the evaluators rated their overall satisfaction with Access Crown Ultra as excellent or very good, with comments such as, “great material,” “very pleased,” and, “the company is very reliable.” Twelve of the 13 evaluators said they would definitely or probably purchase the material, and all 13 said they would definitely or probably recommend it to colleagues.
